How Much Does it Cost to Tell My Story?

by admin on August 15, 2012

Nothing. Please see

It’s interesting how many times I get this question from readers.  I just did a short article regarding a man turning 60 who wanted to tell his story as inexpensively as possible.

There are endless possibilities for telling your story for free. All it takes is a digital recorder or the willingness to type up what you want to say.  What could be simpler?

But it’s not that simple, is it? You struggle with what to say, what to include. How honest do you want to be? What sort of impression do you want to create?

You are concerned about the technology.

So you turn to experts and you come to this site for a conversation. We chat and then you make a decision.

For those with means, there are great sources of assistance for very impressive video productions. There are personal historians who will research your family background, interview you and family members and create a printed book to share with family, friends and business associates.

As for MyLifeAudio.Com, we can record your history over the phone, create a website and offer some written documentation of your life or business all for $500.00 or less.

So you have choices. As stated (in the first link) you can create your own website for free through WordPress. Once again, you don’t have to spend a dime.

What to say? See

But if you want to spend money, there are plenty of options. If you go to the Blogroll section (right side of the page) you will see an array of professionals who are dedicated to making sure you are represented in the way you desire. Just click on the links.

Are they expensive? To some, their legacy is worth the price to get it right, to tell your story accurately, to represent your most personal moments with grace and tact.

But the choices are endless. You “can” do a great job on your own or through this site. If you need help, contact me.

Best, Len Sipes.
